Sunflower oil maker NT is starting a 10 billion forint (EUR 28m) expansion at its base in Kiskunfélegyháza, in southeastern Hungary, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said.
The government is supporting the investment, which will create 55 jobs, with a 1.7 billion forint grant, the minister said.
NT processes 450,000 tonnes of sunflower seed a year at the plant in Kiskunfélegyháza, turning out 210 million litres of sunflower oil. About 60 percent of output is exported.
